Dogwoods prefer areas that have morning sun and afternoon shade or filtered sun. They do not like having wet feet/ sitting in water. Make sure to purchase Tree & Shrub Systemic Insect Drench with this tree or any new tree to prevent insects, like bores, that can kill your tree. Beautiful spring flowers and red fall color.

Heritage River Birch on the other hand prefer sunny to partial shade and love wet areas. They grow 40′ tall and wide. The peeling bark creates a unique look for your landscape. Bright yellow fall color before they defoliate.
